Latinos in the United States face many challenges, including unfair treatment daily. Therefore, we must find new and innovative strategies to purchase land and assets to raise their value. In addition, we must share information about how to create generational wealth.
When it comes to purchasing land, especially in areas like Austin, where the median value of a house is above $500,000.00, options are limited for us. This is especially true for Latinos, who often face extensive qualification demands simply for being Latino. This makes it difficult for many of us to access our land rightfully.
There are programs out there for those of us who qualify where we get the opportunity to purchase land through assistance programs that the city of Austin has devised to allow affordable living in Austin for Hispanics and other underserved communities. Still, they are limited to specific criteria and availability. Therefore, the chances of being able to buy an affordable house in east Austin are the same as winning the lottery.
Some people are buying property in a virtual world. This property cannot be cut into pieces. It is called “non-fungible.” It can be good or bad, depending on how you look. On the one hand, it makes the investment more secure, but on the other hand, it can make it harder to sell. There are many risks when buying this type of property, but some people still find it worth the investment.
When buying NFTs, it’s essential to be smart with your spending. I’ve bought a house for $1 that has been growing in value. It’s necessary to experiment with new concepts and ideas to grow as individuals. Don’t be afraid to try something new! Who knows, you might find your new favorite hobby.
You can also purchase artwork, although I have never done so. It’s terrific that NFTs allow us to be able to own things that otherwise are almost impossible to obtain. For example, I have seen people selling digital artwork for hundreds of dollars. This is something that I would never be able to afford if it were not for NFTs. It’s also great that we can purchase these art pieces and then sell them later on if we so choose. This allows us to profit from our investment and also allows us to support the artist who created the piece.
